Dear Bob and Jmol development team, You have made no comment to the contrary, so unless I hear otherwise I am going to proceed developing code for FirstGlance that assumes there is no plan to block 'write' and 'capture' operations in JSmol/HTML5 or Jmol_S/Java.
Currently they do work (in some but not all browser/OS combinations). This will enable buttons in FirstGlance to save images or animations of the current molecular view. I think that will be quite exciting, despite the generation of animations in JSmol/HTML5 being slow. People will be willing to wait. -Eric ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Site24x7 APM Insight: Get Deep Visibility into Application Performance APM + Mobile APM + RUM: Monitor 3 App instances at just $35/Month Monitor end-to-end web transactions and take corrective actions now Troubleshoot faster and improve end-user experience.
