Hi Simon

I am not sure what 'wait image' you are exactly referring to.

Jmol-14.4.3_2016.02.28-binary contains these 3 in the jsmol/j2s/img folder:

play_make_live.jpg
JSmol_spinner.gif
cursor_wait.gif

The 3rd I believe is a cursor that will display (at the position of the mouse
pointer) while JSmol is busy.

The 2nd, spinner, is an image displayed while JSmol loads, as a background
of the JSmol panel. This was implemented in
and its doc (src/org/jmol/viewer/Jmol.properties) indeed says
use Info._appletLoadingImage = "none" to disable
So, which version are you using?

The 1st is displayed when you use the "cover image" option. Note there was
a bug in recent versions affecting this.

How are you defining Info.j2sPath ?
