Successful established organization worldwide, a leader within their field with
an ambitious business plan on the Romanian market, our client is looking to
recruit a Financial Controller to take a lead on the company's financial
activity.
The company is a global provider of information technology services and
business solutions; it integrates expertise from across the company to deliver
custom solutions that enable clients to accelerate growth, streamline
operations, and create new levels of customer value.
Responsibilities:
Reporting locally to the CEO of the company, the successful candidate will
perform various finance and accounting tasks in accordance with company
procedures, regulatory requirements, tax requirements, and US GAAP. The
position has a remote direct reporting in the Global Finance Team, as well.
The Financial Controller is expected to fulfill the following duties:
∙ Acting as a liaison between the local entity and the corporation;
∙ Managing the startup and integration of in-country operations into
the corporate processes and business practices;
∙ Key role in implementing policies and procedures in compliance with
corporate regulations;
∙ Overseeing and coordinating statutory reporting and corporation board
meetings;
∙ Compliance with audit requirements;
∙ Compliance with local tax requirements;
∙ Management Information Systems;
∙ Local treasury.
Requirements:
∙ Finance graduate;
∙ Minimum 6+ years accounting and finance experience;
∙ Exposure to IAS, IFRS (US GAAP is a distinctive advantage);
∙ Prior knowledge of an ERP System;
∙ Exceptional working knowledge of Microsoft PC applications (Outlook,
Word, Excel, and PowerPoint);
∙ Minimum 1+ years leadership experience;
∙ Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
