Software Programmer (VB6, SQL Server & ADO, COM/Active X)
Main responsibilities:
- Develop software according to specification;
- Unit test all code prior to delivery to testing team;
- Work with other team members on the design and production of
specification at a functional and technical level;
- Prototype complex developments;
- Work closely with Testing department to ensure quality product;
- Assist customer support team in resolving “urgent” client issues;
- Assist in the design of development process/procedures.
Specific job requirements:
- Excellent VB6 knowledge to the highest standard;
- SQL Server & ADO;
- COM/Active X;
- Knowledge of OLE techniques;
- Language proficiency; speaks and writes English;
- Familiarity with software localisation and process;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills;
- Great team player and ability to work with minimum supervision;
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
