TITLE: Technical Support - Call Center

 Job Description:
A Customer Service Representative (CSR) is a key element within the Hostway
support infrastructure and is expected to provide a medium level of
technical support to our customers over the phone and via support tickets.A
CSR is the owner of simple customer issues which may take several minutes or
hours to resolve.


ideal candidate:

• High School degree (University degree would be an advantage)

• Excellent communication and customer orientation skills;

• High energy and positive attitude;

• Capacity to handle multi tasks and problem solving abilities;

• Able to work in shifts;

• Knowledge of Basic Linux (mandatory)

• Knowledge of Windows, basic networking , browsers, email clients;
(mandatory)

• Fluency in English

• Experience in a call center is an advantage

• Experience in a customer service related area is a plus



responsabilities:


• Survey and report any problems that where brought to his attention by
customers

• Follow up with customers and other persons involved to ensure complete
satisfaction

• Strive to educate customers on internal and external resources available
to solve support issues.

• Seeks advice when faced with complex issues/problems

• Work as a team with customer support technicians, to most effectively and
efficiently resolve customer issues

• Act independently to ensure a quality support environment and to obtain
maximum customer based satisfaction.

• Solve problems consistently and completely with minimum supervision.

• Monitor all equipment, report and participate in fixing the problems that
occur during your shift

• Help verify and modify the work procedures and technical solutions

• Provides support to carry out OS installations and configurations on
servers following existing procedures.

• Explain technical information in an easy to understand manner

• Analyze and resolve the problems the customers may have in his range of
abilities.

• Follow security measures and procedures at all times, for customers' and
company's protection.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: *


- Able to master the support of the customers

- Sufficient technical background and knowledge so as to provide successful
support with confidence

- Able to listen and understand clients' needs accurately and quickly,

- Good oral and written communication skills,

- Good presentation skills,

- Basic knowledge of the Internet

- Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software

- Basic knowledge of of PHP, MySQL, DNS, FTP, SSH, mail, ASP, MSSQL, Apache,
Cpanel, Windows, Linux.
