The Application Developer designs, develops and supports application solutions to meet customer requirements. He/she may design, develop and/or re-engineer highly complex application components, and integrate software packages, programs and reusable objects residing on multiple platforms.
The Application Developer is responsible for performing the following tasks: - Develop technical specifications - Translate business - IT requirements - Interpret data models - Use application development methodology and tools - Use application strategies for maintenance - Use full life cycle system development processes - Use programming languages - Use software configuration management (SCM) tools Requirements: at least 1.5 years of experience in development and maintenance on Java environment; mandatory technical skills: Java (version 1.4 or more recent), J2EE (version 1.3 or more recent), JSP, servlet, HTML, JavaScript, SQL, XML; Nice to have: Struts, Hibernate, Spring, EJB3, AJAX, PL/SQL, JSF (JavaServerFaces), Eclipse, CVS, Swing/AWT, iBatis, Portlet; good command of English (knowledge of Italian is considered an advantage); university degree (technical profile).
