Position: Weblogic Administrator Location: San Francisco, CA or Minneapolis, MN Duration: 6+ Months Job Description: The ideal applicant will possess the following a BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent, 5-7 years of working experience, strong WebLogic/WebSphere/J2EE concepts, fundamentals and working experience, in depth working knowledge of Apache/ IIS web servers, strong software engineering background including ability to scripts in at least one language (shell, perl, python, jython, WLST, etc), good grasp of hardware and Linux (or any other flavor of unix) system administration concept, experience with supporting Web applications, good understanding of Change Control procedures, comfort with basic Windows Administration concepts, motivated self-learner, good problem solving skills, excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, good understanding of industry best practices, good understanding of security best practices (SOX compliance), ability to firmly but "politely" say NO when needed, 24 X 7 On call support on rotation, can be located in either San Francisco or Minneapolis.
