Project Manager Location: Long Island Expected Duration: 6 Months Rate: $60 Corp to Corp
Ref: GM25747 Client needs a strong project manager to work with the New York PM group. This project manager will be responsible for ensuring that the project team completes the project in budget, on schedule and within scope. Responsibilities include: Develops the project plan with the project team Manages the project team's performance though the duration of the project Obtains acceptance and approval of deliverables from the Project Sponsor and Stakeholders. PM is responsible for project communication, including project status, risk management, escalation of issues that cannot be resolved in the team. Execution of the project tasks will be performed following the Client project management processes which are part of a well defined methodology. Experience: This PM should be extremely well versed with PM methodologies, have managed large enterprise projects and effected change in a corporate environment related to the role of a project manager. The portfolio of projects will include a networking project so IT background, specifically infrastructure, is a big plus. Banking background is a big plus.
