Position: Sr. Oracle 11i functional consultant Location: Alpharetta, GA Duration: 6 Months 8+ years as an Oracle 11i functional consultant (Order to Cash modules) - Hands-on experience in at least 4+ full life cycle implementations in Order Management/Inventory/AR modules - Candidates should have prior experience in applying Oracle 11i functionality to solve business problems. - Strong understanding of Oracle Supply Chain schema and table structures - Working knowledge of SQL (candidates with techno-functional experience will be preferred -- 20-30% technical background, 70- 80% functional experience) - Experience in interfacing with Warehouse Systems, EDI, ASCP desirable - Strong communication skills (written as well as verbal) required Responsibilities: Primary responsibilities include: - Working with cross-functional teams (Oracle Development and Business) in designing process flows to meet business requirements - Developing detailed functional design for Oracle solution components (MD50s) - Developing prototypes to validate solution design - Work with other external application teams in identifying data requirements and interface design to meet solution objectives. - Work with the project team in resolving application issues, designing and implementing system enhancements, and in documenting new user requirements - Developing test scripts and testing new functionality/enhancements - Planning and executing of conversion activities - Work with development teams to transition the functional design and assist in coming up with the technical designs.
