Job Title: Software Developer with iManage Worksite 8.2 (NT), Worksite SDK, Microsoft.NET, ASP.NET, C#, XML, XSLT, SOAP (8-10) years Location: East Algonquin, Illinois Duration: 1 year Job Description: Basic Qualifications: BSCS, BSCE, BS Software Engineering, or MSCS from an accredited college or university, plus a minimum of 8 years of experience working in IT software positions. Requisition Title: IT Legal Services Software Engineer Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations: The successful candidate will co- lead the architecture planning and design for the Legal systems and information to achieve the separation goals and objectives of project discovery resulting in two independent companies running on independent systems and business processes. This individual will recommend and implement the Legal models of business processes, applications, data, systems, security, organizations, and strategy for both companies. The candidate will be expected to create two distinct Legal roadmaps (Landing Zones) for how the overall enterprise will change due to the company separation. It is expected that this person will reduce the overall complexity of the Legal architecture for both companies. The candidate will identify, promote, develop and enforce standards that facilitate collaboration, consistency, and reuse in all of the areas modeled. The candidate will be required to interface with senior management to capture and communicate the vision of the enterprise architecture for both companies. This individual must be able to communicate this vision effectively and build relationships with industry peers to facilitate collaborative exchanges and industry best practices. The candidate will also be required to analyze, design, develop, test, debug, and enhance the Clients document management system, iManage, a product from Interwoven. The candidate will be required to manage all projects including the development, design, and implementation of custom solutions for the Legal department at Client. This candidate will also be required to lead the IT project for Client's intellectual asset management on IP Thomson's IP Manager Tool. Specific Knowledge/Skills: The successful candidate should have a proven leadership track record in the area of enterprise architecture. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required. The candidate should be experienced with presenting at the senior leadership team level. It is expected that this person should have a strong technical background consisting of experience developing operation, systems, and technology models. Experience is reducing architecture complexity is a must. This candidate must have experiences in iManage Worksite 8.2 (NT), Worksite SDK, Microsoft.NET, ASP.NET, C#, XML, XSLT, SOAP, Web services, LDAP, Active directory, Siteminder SSO, HTML, DTHML, Java Script, SQL Server, T-SQL, VB, COM/DCOM, Microsoft Visual Source Safe, and IIS. Position Requirements: Experience Level - 7 - 10 Years Analyze science, engineering, business, and all other data processing problems for application to electronic data processing systems. Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations.
