I need a replacement QC Engineer as soon as possible. The initial contract will be for 3.5 months; however, as with anyone if they work out then we will have plenty of QC work for all of 2009. In addition to the description below, QC/QA automation experience, especially with MSTEST, WATIN…etc would be a plus. Project Overview This project is to QC the Provider Directory Lookup & Online Account Lookup (OAL) projects. The work to be performed will include the following: * Manage multiple web-based projects as QC lead * Plan, schedule, coordinate, and implement testing * Develop and maintain master test plan, test procedures & schedules and ensure they are followed * Manage and mentor test team members in technical & application knowledge related to quality control * Work with the business to produce high level and detailed test cases based on business rules * Report on gaps in requirements to QC manager as appropriate * Optimize and automate testing process. * Oversee and execute UATs, integration, regression and performance/load testing and the reporting of results * Document issues in defect tracking tool * Identify quality issues and communicate to manager as appropriate * Coordinate the setup of testing facilities * Manage defect issue resolution * Report on testing progress to the Project Manager and other project members * Lead bug scrub meetings to triage new defects * Ensure quality of the project * Ensure customer satisfaction * Participate in functional requirements gathering sessions. * Participate in the change requirement process and analyze the impact on quality control. * Collate final test results and report in writing on these to the Project Manager and other designated project members Key Project Deliverables * Test Plan & procedures * QC work estimate * Test cases * Weekly status report * Iteration & release reports -- Nayeem Amin Decca Consulting Ph: 832 561 0634 [EMAIL PROTECTED] yim: amin_gci --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "jobinusa" group.
