We have an opening for....... Position: Power Builder Developer Location: Raleigh, NC Duration: 6 Months DESCRIPTION: Primary responsibilities include: . Hands-on development of commercial grade, web-based applications. There will be a heavy emphasis on flow-through provisioning automation. . Interacting on a daily basis with development staff, QA, and business owners within the company. . Scheduling and leading technical meetings across organizational boundaries. . Shepherding components of the Enterprise architecture from Development into Quality Assurance and then into production. . Providing project-level summaries to executives on a regular basis. Skills and Experience: . 3+ years Software Development experience in an environment employing industry-standard methodologies (e.g. Agile, Waterfall, Scrum). . Hands-on experience architecting, building and deploying Enterprise infrastructures using Powerbuilder. Experience with Powerbuilder 11 to develop Web Services is highly desirable. . Hands-on experience with one or more of the following App Servers: GlassFish, BEA Weblogic, .NET IIS, WebSphere, JBoss. . Significant experience in commercial grade software development . Development experience with SOAP/XML, SQL, and some flavor of Unix. . B.S. in a technical field, Master's preferred . Strong communications skills . The ability to travel domestically ~10%. .
