Scope of Responsibility/Expectations: We are seeking an experienced .NET Software Developer to join the Software Development Team. This offering is specifically related to the development of desktop based application for a specific Customer. The role is to work through all phases of the software development life cycle, including analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance. This includes working with the Software Team to provide design level requirements and algorithms, managing and controlling the interfaces, and integrate the software onto the hardware device. Specific Knowledge: * The candidates for this position should have practical experience with the following: 4-5 years experience in the use of .NET Winforms and C# in developing desktop applications (evidence may be required) 1 year experience in the use of .NET WPF (C# and XAML) in developing desktop applications (evidence may be required) Practical development experience using Expression Blend and XAML in designing WPF pages 4-5 years experience with the use of the Visual Studio .NET 2003/2005/2008 IDE 1-2 years .NET development experience with Web services Experience using program source control (preferably ClearCase) Practical experience developing configuration utilities for desktop applications Experience in actively participating in the full software development life cycle Experience using object-oriented concepts and techniques Experience using architectural best practices and design patterns Experience using UML in documenting design and architectural specifications Possess the ability to take a complex problem and break it down into well defined, manageable components A team player with the ability to work well under time constraints and with a minimum of supervision Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills Position Requirements: Experience Level - 7 - 10 Years Develop, create, and modify general computer applications software or specialized utility programs. Analyze user needs and develop software solutions. Design software or customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency.
