Description: Designs, tests, implements, maintains, and controls the organization's physical, relational, and object-oriented databases across multiple platforms and computing environments. Participates in the development of data architectures and database management policies and standards. Provides in-depth consulting services in the identification and resolution of database issues. Participates in the planning, design, and usage of data resources. May develop detailed data models and entity relationship diagrams. . Provide DBA services for Oracle and SQL Server databases in Dev, QA and UAT environments. . Perform application installs, upgrades, performance monitoring and tuning of database queries. . Perform problem analysis and resolution. . On-call 24X7 support on rotation basis . Create documentation and perform knowledge transfer .
