· What is the EMAPSS application and its functionality?

A) EMAPSS is our Demand Planning and Production Scheduling application

running on Unix, built on Oracle databases and PL/SQL scripts that

interfaces with ERPs based on SAP and JDE.

· What exactly is being upgraded as part of this project (i.e.

      Database, SAP system, hardware, etc)?

A) The project upgrades all EMAPSS components including Oracle database

version (to 10g) and its integration technologies (PL/SQL, BEA

      Weblogic,SAP PI).

· What specific Oracle "admin" functions would be required?

A) Knowledge about Oracle "admin" functions pertains to knowledge about

how PL/SQL scripts should be constructed leveraging on unique Oracle

database features that enhance the PL/SQL script execution

      efficiency.
