JOB DESCRIPTION -- IT Operations
Joining a team of developers, responsibilities will include building a broad range of client server applications which will support areas of Operations.
Responsibilities will involve:
• development of trade processing
• settlement
• reconciliation
• other workflow related applications
Resource will be required to participate in all aspects of the project life cycle, including:
- requirements gathering
- design
- coding
- testing
- deployment
- documentation
Minimum Requirements:
- 3 years of development experience in Java and some PERL with a strong skill base in UNIX and Windows operating systems.
- Familiarity with BPS Advantage, LoanNet, or OneWorld is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Sybase, SQL, Oracle, MQ Series, TIBCO Rendezvous, C#, C++ as well as any experience developing middle office applications, or fixed income product knowledge is also a plus.
Opportunities to work closely with business users and other IT staffs require strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a group.
