Job Title: Architect Web
Location: Frazer, PA
Duration: 6+ months
Rate : $ 60/hr
Position Description/Responsibilities:
Defines application architectures for projects
Confirms/ensures soundness of project technical designs
Reviews project estimates for development
Provide recommendations for application designs based on best practices and reusable assets
Develops Proof of Concepts and architecture designs/technical designs for new technical solutions
Participates in transition of application designs to offshore development team
Maintains familiarity with a repository of reusable assets to be leveraged by projects
Prepares code packages and documentation (Setup Guide, Configuration Settings) for deployments
Maintains familiarity with client coding standards and communicates them to development team
Assists with application data modeling
Provide technical Subject Matter Expertise for project teams
Liason with related IS groups representing the development center
Abilities:
Knowledge of internet/intranet web-based technologies and architectures
Ability to work with others in a constructive and collaborative manner
Ability to think critically; to recognize and anticipate a problem (technical, operational, process, organizational) and to identify and implement or communicate the best solution in a timely manner
Technology function
Knowledge of emerging technologies (new to company systems as well as those that are new to the information systems industry)
In depth knowledge of client's information architecture and information management methodology
