Job Title: Software Engineer with Image processing/enhancement: C# and .Net
programming.
Location: United States - Schaumburg/Libertyville, Illinois
Duration: 7-12 months
Description:
We are seeking an experienced Image Processing Developer to join the
Software Development Team. The key responsibilities include selecting,
coding/implementing and comparing image processing and de-interlacing
algorithms, and incorporating algorithms into existing C# GUI software.
The role is to work through all phases of the software development life
cycle, including analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and
maintenance. This includes working with the Software Team to provide design
level requirements and algorithms, managing and controlling the interfaces,
and integrate the software onto the hardware device.
Requirements:
The successful candidate should have a Masters degree or higher in Computer
Science or a related field. Industry experience is highly desirable as is
ability to work as a cohesive team member within a small technical group.
The individual must have at least 3 years of industry experience in image
processing/analysis, a practical background in imaging enhancement, and
experience with C# and .Net programming.
Specific Knowledge:
The candidates for this position should have practical experience with the
following:
. Image processing and image enhancement including noise reduction,
de-interlacing, sharpening, etc.
. Motion estimation and motion compensation.
. Excellent programming skills in C and C++
. Familiarity with Windows GDI, DirectX, WPF, would be a plus
. Familiarity with DirectX, MS MediaCenter is also beneficial
. Knowledge of image, video, and audio stds JPEG, AAC, H.264/AVC and other
MPEG stds a plus
Position Requirements:
Experience Level - 7 - 10 Years Develop, create, and modify general computer
applications software or specialized utility programs. Analyze user needs
and develop software solutions. Design software or customize software for
client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency. May analyze
and design databases within an application area, working individually or
coordinating database development as part of a team.
