Bay Area 3-6 months Need local to CA. Position Description Questionnaire Activities: · Works on PepleSoft and Peoplesoft related complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors. · Exercises judgement within broadly define practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criterion for obtaining results in support of the PeopleSoft systems. · Provides Guidance and assigns work. · Uses professional concepts to solve complex problems in creative and effective ways. · Provides application development and efficient problem solving support to the PeopleSoft systems. · Creates and implements Project plans, Conversion plans, Testing plans etc.. · Creates and maintains UNIX & Database scripts. · Recommends changes in development, maintenance and system standards · Able to complete a complex design for problem/project issues. · Builds and maintains a good working relationship with the user community and other support teams. · Works relatively independently and in consultation with manager and technical lead, to define systems design requirements, and to develop and implement complex systems. · Coordinates requirements from end-user community, build development proposals/functional specifications, code and test enhancements. · Responsible for one or all stages of system development life cycle. · Assists in designing and developing system architecture. · Creates Technical specifications. · Provides guidance and direction to subordinates. · Helps develop skill sets of subordinates. · Able to manage small projects. . Established minimum qualifications: · Requires a BS degree and 5+ years of experience in programming computer applications. · At least 3 years of PeopleSoft development experience using PeopleTools, PeopleCode, SQR, Crystal etc.. · Broad and in-depth knowledge in more than one area of PeopleSoft programming tools. · High knowledge of Financials and Human Resources systems is preferred. · High application knowledge of databases. · Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. · Experience in UNIX scripting and Database tuning. · Must be capable of delivering high quality results. · Should be competent to work independently and solve complex problems and issues. · Excellent planning and organizing skills. · PeopleSoft Inc. certified training required. · Familiarity of accounting policies & procedures.
