Position: Network Engineer Location: Middletown, NJ Duration: 6+ Months Candidate will support Managed Security Services -Network Based initiatives as part of a special project. Candidate will design, develop, test, and support scalable virtualized network-based Internet security services integrated into core residential and business DSL service. The Candidate must have experience working for a Carrier Service Provider or Internet Service Provider, preferably a Tier 1 Carrier. REQUIREMENTS: Candidate must have practical hands on expertise developing highly scalable virtualized security services within Tier 1 carrier broadband environments. Candidate must have demonstrated ability to autonomously manage a complete development cycle; from proof of concept through production. Candidate should have in depth understanding and expertise of carrier DSL architectures and equipment. Candidate should also possess a strong networking, Internet security, and TCP/IP background.
