Title : SR Cobol Developer with Healthcare experience Location : WASHINGTON DC Length : 6months Recent Healthcare Experience is required******** This position is located in the DC office. Previous Healthcare experience desired! To provide application development (DTD/HB) support for the Corporate and Financial Systems Department. This person will assist with a number of activities including MTM metrics automation, IACS application changes related to several MO initiatives, support NWR's for the Finance Cash Receipts application and provide support for the GROUP Performance metrics application (NWR's) Responsible for coding, testing and analyzing application software. Supports existing business systems applications. May partner with business analysts to identify business needs and appropriate technical solutions. May design and document moderately complex technical requirements for business applications. Core competencies include: Cobol, VSAM, IMS, CICS, MF Cobol etc. Responsible for coding, testing and analyzing application software, providing support for existing or new business systems applications. This resource must have strong analytical skills and be able to ramp up quickly. Ability to work with little or no supervision and is self motivated. Will be working under supervision of a Corporate Systems Supervisor and will perform coding on IBM mainframe and other platforms as required. Candidate must have current CICS experience with a minimum of 7 - 15 years of IBM Mainframe experience is required. Experienced coding in COBOL, JCL and Syncsort is also required. This resource will perform day-to-day support of the following Core Applications; IACS, MTM metrics, BUC$, Broker Load and Reconciliation and other applications where required. Must be able to work directly with customers to gather and finalize requirements. This position also requires the candidate to have excellent communication skills and be able to work as part of a highly productive and motivated team environment.
