The candidate will be directing the team and technical architecture and designer and implementor of future state Report Generator & Reporting services. The candidate will need to be very delivery focus and have a 'hands on' approach in order to meet the business's high expectations. This individual's financial services competencies should include *Prime Brokerage Swap or risk management technology.* * * *Responsibilities:* As a Lead Developer, this individual will take a leadership role in the program and will be: - Focused on developing an end-to-end understanding of the technical requirements for Client Reporting Group. - A provider of leadership and technical advice to onshore and offshore teams Required to gain rapid understanding of the existing infrastructure in order to develop and enhance existing Report Generator platform. - Working closely with technical architect to propose future state. - a partner with the functional design team to review business processes and provide technical risk analysis into the functional design process A key point of contact for the business to solve and manage business related IT issues *SKILLS REQUIRED:* - Hand on experience of distributed information delivery systems, preferably in a Java/Unix environment and weblogic application server. - 5+ Year of experience in developing service oriented architectures and web services, including XML, SOAP and J2EE experience of messaging and asynchronous programming models in distributed systems, including JMS implementations and in-memory data grids. - Experience in Oracle /Sybase database. - Hands on application support and management responsibility for the day-to-day operation of mission critical applications. - Development and production experience of Coherence.
