***Please send your replies to [email protected] **** Contact # 609-945-2373 Title: SAS Consultant Duration: 6 Months Location: Beaverton, OR Requirement Details: ================================== Main Implementation Activities: Complete installation and configuration of the software environment for the solution above including: Database Schema, Relevant SAS Solution Application, Web Application Server (Weblogic, Websphere), Apache Web Services, SAS Data Integration solution, SAS 9 and related SAS Software, Forecasting Server and related SAS products BI Server and related SAS products. Knowledge transfer: Performa hands on installation of the solutions above on the first environment (i.e. Dev) Documenting the specific installation and configuration process on the customer’s environment Performing knowledge transfer to the customer of the installation process, maintenance, troubleshooting. Support the customer during environments’ installation and configuration process of subsequent environment (i.e. Test, Training, Production etc). Performance Stress Testing and Tuning of the environments Provide consulting of setting up and configuring the Database environment and Operating system (Unix) Provide H.W. sizing recommendations for deployment of different SAS solutions based on implementation / business process requirements. Skills Required: Minimum 5 years of working experience in RDBMS (prefer Oracle) and SQL language. Minimum 5 years working experience in UNIX environment (AIX or SUN Solaris). Working experience with Web Application server (WebLogic, Websphere). Minimum 5 years working with SAS tools/solutions installations and configuration on multi tier architecture on the above Unix OS. Required specific knowledge on BI Server and/or Forecast Server installation. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), experience with communicating to different resource levels at a customer site. Good organizational skills and ability to balance work loads on multiple projects with minimal supervision. Preference: Experience working with customers in the Retail industry.
