The primary focus will be the EMC DMX platforms and the further advancement of both the local provisioning and maintaining Business Continuance processes. The candidate must be able to: * · *Independently recognize, troubleshoot, and resolve storage situations between the distributed hosts and EMC DASD subsystems, including their local and/or remote target. * · *Provide Tier3 technical infrastructure support services for issues elevated from the Support Center and other Technical Services groups. * · *Identify end of service life, ETA and microcode alerts, software and hardware upgrades/refresh requirements for the Distributed DASD environment. * · *Work with Both the UNIX and Windows Tech Services teams to install, test, and migrate software and/or hardware changes. * · *Demonstrate a solid working knowledge of the DWDM and network interconnectivity and protocol across sites. * · *Provide technical support and build professional relationships among peers and support teams. * · *Must be able to establish and follow documented standards/procedures. * · *Must be able to perform technical peer reviews for the implementation and planned changes to be performed * · *Must be able to follow detailed instructions and display excellent written and oral communications skills * · *Must be able to display the highest level of analytical and problem solving skills. * · *Follow all Client's policies and procedures technical and ethics. * · *Demonstrate flexibility with the work schedule.
