Position: Technical Writer Location: Cranston, RI Duration 3-6 Months, Possible Deliverables: criteria/results by which success can be measured: Responsible for organizing, developing, and composing compiled information; editing materials. Composes technical-based documents, manuals, bulletins, brochures, publications, training manuals, and special reports. Proficient in complex technical writing assignments. BA or BS degree or equivalent. 4-7 years related experience. Must be able to interview technical architects and possess a solid technical background, reduce information to key components and document for general usage by tier1 resources. Must be able to understand technology and communicate efficiently with technical resources. An expert with FrameMaker 9 and HTML is a must and a solid background in Sharepoint is also highly desirable. Any programming experience with .NET and Visual Basic is also highly desirable.
