Conducts and coordinates the analysis, planning, and implementation of systems software and/or hardware. Analyzes, designs, codes, tests, debugs, maintains, modifies, and documents operating systems. Defines systems software and/or hardware requirements and determines system specifications and/or customizations. Coordinates the design of subsystems and integration of total systems. Identifies and resolves highly complex problems. Provides direction and/or guidance to less experienced staff.* *Minimum Experience: 4 yr degree plus 7-10 yrs exp* * * *Candidate must work 2nd shift (3:00 pm - 12:00 pm CT time zone). Must have 5+ years experience with Solaris 8/10, Solaris Zones/Containers, enterprise production support experience, and shell scripting experience (examples of scripts may be requested). Candidate must also have 5+ years experience with one of the following operating systems: RHEL 4/5, HP/UX 11i, or AIX 5L. Primary work duties will be implementing change requests and general production support on all of the above platforms.
