70K is a little low in my opinion. But then again, I
live in silicon valley.

Since it's a recruiter, they are probably taking 30%
or more out of what Amazon is actually paying. I had a
different recruiter call me the other day about this
position - if it is infact the same position. They
stated only 3 month contract-to-hire at $65/hour (if
you're experienced).

The fact that it's a different recruiter is why I hate
dealing with recruiters. One says $35, another says
$65.

Amazon can afford much higher than $35/hour, but
that's recruiters for ya.
