JOB DESCRIPTION: Coordinates and leads the development and
maintenance of applications. Consults with customers to
understand business problems and develops technical solutions.
Provides technical expertise on applications, technical tools
and software. Provides technical direction to customers and
support staff.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Eight years of information technology
experience OR a bachelor's degree and six years of information
technology experience. Positions in this classification may
require a knowledge of one or more programming languages and/or
a knowledge of an application and application tools.
PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS: The successful candidate will need
programming experience with ColdFusion and HTML.
He/she must have a thorough understanding of relational databases;
experience creating and debugging SQL queries for Oracle;
strong verbal and inter-personal communication skills with the
ability to gather customer requirements and design a strong technical
solution that meets the business needs.
Excellent written documentation skills (MS-Word, Excel, PowerPoint
and Visio) producing detailed requirements, architecture, and
maintenance documents; team oriented with the ability to work
with individuals at various technical levels and openly seek
and receive input from various customers, colleagues, and
management also needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Financial Systems, preferably PeopleSoft Financials.
- Programming experience with Java, Spring, Hibernate, PHP, and shell scripts.
- Database experience with MSSQL, and mySQL.
- Knowledge and understanding of XML and Web Services.
- Additional technical experience with LDAP and Netegrity.
Compensation
Min Hourly $28.44 Mid Hourly $39.97
Min Monthly $4930.00 Mid Monthly $6928.13
Min Annual $59160.00 Mid Annual $83137.50
This is an Exempt position. Employees in this position are paid a salary on a
monthly basis and are not eligible to receive overtime pay.
