Role:
Develops, implements, and maintains web-based application systems for company's corporate intranet, internet portal, and all specialty Information web sites. The qualified candidate will have extensive web development experience and be familiar with the standard development life cycle. This person will : * Develop and maintain web sites and web-based applications according to defined business and technology standards * Monitor site traffic and help scale site capacity to meet traffic demands performance * Have extensive experience with ColdFusion(a must)- version 5.0 or 7, SQL, CSS< XML Fusebox, JavaScript and HTML * Evaluate and make recommendations regarding our technology platform(s) and development methodologies Scope: * Develop web sites and web-based applications * Provide support as needed for company web sites and web-based applications Responsibilities: * Develop web sites and web-based application based on business requirements * Develop technical design documents based on functional specs * Assist with evolving internal web analytics program and refining traffic shaping plan * In conjunction with the Enterprise Web Manager, coordinate task assignments with third party development resources * Assist with policies and procedures for the web * Assist with recommendations on web platform architecture and tool selection Requirements: * Have extensive experience with ColdFusion - version 5.0 or 7, SQL, CSS< XML Fusebox, JavaScript and HTML * 7-10 years of experience developing and maintaining web sites and web-based applications * Experience monitoring site traffic and scaling site capacity to meet traffic demands performance * Extent of experience evaluating and making recommendations regarding technology platforms and developmental methodologies * Passion for technology McKinley Consulting is a partner firm or McKinley Group, based out of Minnetonka.
