The company is primarily based in any number of a variety of business processes centered around educating Physicians and Clinicians in the field to new treatments (drugs, methodologies, breakthroughs, etc.) for various therapy areas (cancer, diabetes, viral infections, etc.). Those business processes include everything from producing registration sites, to document management of research articles and abstracts, to creating CDs and other multimedia materials explaining disease states and treatments. Our Atlanta office is located in the perimeter area. We are based out of London and have 10 offices worldwide ranging from North America, to Europe, Asia and Australia. Salary is negotiable* *but we are looking around in the 60k - 80k range all very dependent upon skill* *and experience level --------- HR Description ------- *Position Summary:* The Application Developer designs, writes, modifies, tests, documents, and implements mostly web-based software applications. The developer will work on both internal and external applications but will have a focus on the client-based projects. Works under general supervision, but does have a wide degree of latitude and creativity to help ensure that the client's expectations are met. *Essential Duties and Responsibilities:* * * · Responsible for the development of internal and external web-based applications based on client specifications · Work in an integrated fashion with other developers and members of a project team (e.g., designers, account managers, conferencing staff) · Adhere to established programming architecture · Provide applications support for internal office staff · Provide limited off-site technical support for client projects · Maintain and troubleshoot existing projects as needed · Respond in timely manner to assigned IT support requests · Assist with the training of other departments in various applications *Education and Technical Experience:* * * · Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field · 2-4 years general programming experience · Specific experience in the medical education/ pharmaceutical field is given higher preference · Experience developing data driven web applications particularly using Cold Fusion MX+ and SQL Server 2000+.
