Senior Web Development Programmer Analyst Job Description: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS The qualified candidate will lead local and enterprise development efforts through all phases of the development life cycle using the Unified development Process (UP), ColdFusion/Flex 3, Java and SQL server database. Must fully understand the complete Software Development Lifecycle and be competent in all phases. Must be a self-starter and able to work independently as well as in groups to develop use cases and other types of technical documentation, develop software in ColdFusion/Flex 3 and Java, test and debug software, and participate and/or oversee code reviews. The ability to work across organizational boundaries with other technicians and business areas is highly desirable. Experience with CMMI is preferred. PMBOK experience is a plus. REQUIREMENTS · Participates on or leads development teams in analyzing technical requirements of proposed automated systems. Responsible for leading multiple development initiatives. Researches and recommends software development and/or acquisition to solve complex business problems. Evaluates software tools and techniques and provides in-depth technical expertise to the project development teams in selecting the most appropriate forms of technology that are available and practical. Manages the integration and implementation of new technology. - 4 · Plans and develops application system prototypes with the use of various software tools to determine the feasibility and cost effectiveness of alternative approaches to development efforts. - 4 · Provides subject matter expertise in developing technical standards and establishing strategic direction for software development. - 4 · Troubleshoots highly technical and complex problems. Reviews and reads periodicals, attends classes and seminars, and recommends training for project development teams as deemed necessary. - 4 · Leads development teams in the evaluation, selection, and installation of software purchased from vendors that will be used for application development projects. Develops standards, procedures, and guidelines to support project development teams. - 4 · Provides consultation, mentoring, and training to other staff on Internet/intranet technologies. - 3 · Builds and maintains knowledge of customer's business including business rules, operational procedures, how the business is funded, and how the business function fits into the mission of the Bank as a whole. - 4 · Strong verbal and written communication skills. - 3 · BA/BS degree preferred. - 2 · Software development experience: 3+ years ColdFusion, 2+ years Java, 1+ year Flex - 4 · ColdFusion and Java certifications preferred – 2 -------------------- NOTE: DO NOT EMAIL ME ABOUT THIS JOB.
