Professional Application Services in Warner Robins, GA is hiring a full-time web programmer / analyst to begin some time in May / June of 2011.
The ideal candidate will possess a wide variety of skills and will be able to put many of them to use on a daily basis. Applicant must be able to work in 1-2 person teams so initiative and personal responsibility is critical. Responsibilities will include all phases of design, development, testing, and support. This is a great opportunity to put existing knowledge and background to work as well as expand your skills in the industry. Ideal candidates will have at least 2-3 years of active commercial develpment. Must be willing to move (or commute) to Warner Robins, GA or surrounding area. We are just over an hour south of metro Atlanta. Good working knowledge of HTML, cross-browser DOM, etc is a must. Javascript, jQuery, Ajax, and similar tools are used extensively in the user interface. The primary development platform is Coldfusion and Microsoft SQL Server. Knowledge of general database interaction via tables, views, and functions as well as triggers and stored procedures is highly critical. Strong mathematics / analytics background a plus as many processes deal with banking, payments, and related functions. Critical skills: ColdFusion MSSQL 2005+ (General DB, T-SQL, Triggers, SP's) JQuery / Ajax Javascript HTML / DOM Cross Browser Development Useful but not required: PHP MySQL iPhone / Android development Competitive based on experience.
