About whom we seek:
We seek a talented developer with strong expertise in PHP and
MySQL. You are a creative thinker who is not afraid to challenge us or be
challenged. You are self-motivated and have experience working with others,
mass mail systems, and transactional and ecommerce systems (payment gateways &
systems)
You will spend your time building and maintaining custom
applications. Applications range from full scale content management systems to
complex community based applications and beyond.
The following skills are REQUIRED:
* BS in Computer Science, Information Technology or
equivalent PHP5 / MySQL expert
* Ability to work individually and in team
* Minimum 3 years Java development
* Strong database skills ( MySQL)
* Working knowledge of Object Oriented Analysis / Object
Oriented Design Strong Java/J2EE skills: Include but not limed to: design,
development, documentation and testing of Java/J2EE products - JDBC,
hibernate, log4j, Servlets, Webservices & ANT
* Familiar with HTML, XML & JavaScript
* Experience with object oriented php5

The ideal applicant is a detail-oriented, self-motivated
individual an expert with object-oriented design in PHP5 using an MVC-type
framework, and knows MySQL well enough to be able to optimize queries in an
INNODB transaction-safe database. You will be a master of XML/XSL
transformations. And, as a bonus having some knowledge of web 2.0 interface
design sensibilities is a huge plus.
Skills:

The ideal applicant is someone experienced with transport
layers -- i.e connecting the data to the UI and handling events coming in from
the UI.
You should be and expert with object-oriented design in PHP5
within an MVC-type framework, have significant experience with XML/XSL
transformations, and have solid cross-browser chops in
HTML/CSS/Javascript/jQuery/AJAX.
We are looking for detail-oriented, self-motivated individuals
interested in creating bleeding edge user-generated-content applications and
community-based websites.
You will be working in a fast-paced production environment that
will necessitate the daily completion of tasks, while also entailing work on
larger, on-going projects. You will be working within an existing code base and
developing new applications with it.
