Because of internal growth, we seeking a PHP systems developer. We prefer a full-time employee, but are open to independent contractors who are willing and able to work on-site and are looking to build a long-term relationship.
This position requires:
- Solid PHP and database systems development experience
- Knowledge of web-development skills including HTML, _javascript_, and CSS
- The ability to work with a team of professionals with diverse perspectives
- The ability to work on several projects simultaneously
- Willingness to conform to Strategic's application development standards
- A positive attitude and superior work ethic
- Degree in Computer Science or Information technology
- Configuration experience with LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP) or a Microsoft server
- Experience with PHP-based content management systems (Joomla, Mambo, etc.)
- Experience with web application development frameworks (Zend Framework, etc.)
- Experience with visual programming and templating systems
- Exposure to the IBM System i (iSeries / AS/400) server
- Bilingual English / Spanish
- The desire to be a lifetime learner
