Senior OO PHP GUI Developer - NYC/Flatiron District Employee Opportunity (not a contract)
You will work on projects on our front end, collaborating with other developers throughout the requirements, design, and implementation phases of projects. Ideally you will have strong object-oriented PHP skills; JavaScript, XML/XSLT, CSS, and database (SQL) experience; and outstanding written and oral communications skills, including the ability to communicate well with non-technical associates. Backend is heavy OO Perl. Specifically, you will offer: *Strong understanding of object oriented systems and UI design principles are required *3-5+ years experience with object-oriented PHP writing robust software systems, using JavaScript/AJAX and XML/XSLT *3+ years experience with SQL, CSS *Experience with PostgreSQL, Smarty templates garner Bonus Points *Familiarity with major databases (Oracle, MS SQL Server) are major Bonus Points *Got Perl? Excellent! *Team lead experience? Very cool! The work environment: Located in the Flatiron District of New York, easily accessible from many directions, our mission is to transform the way organizations manage their database infrastructure through the use of automation.
