of New York City’s premier cultural institutions seeks a full-time
Technology Specialist for Digital Media.
Technology Specialist, Digital Media

Summary of Responsibilities:
The Technology Specialist, Digital Media is responsible for creating
and maintaining the functionality of the Garden’s Content Management
Systems. He/She builds and implements content for the Garden’s
websites. Trains and assist Garden departments on Content Management
Systems. Creates web applications for a variety of needs and builds
email templates and websites. Ensures consistency throughout the
Garden’s sites and performs other relevant duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences or related field
preferred.
· At least three plus (3+) years PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS and
JavaScript experience.
· Should be able to code in other languages.
· At least one plus (1+) years of Unix/Linux experience.
· Ability to code in a text editor required.
· Must be able to multi-task and attention to detail is key.
· Team oriented, excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Salary will commensurate with experience. Excellent Benefits,
including 4 weeks vacation.
