Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the maintenance and expansion of our online gaming
platform that serves games and advertisements to our customers and keeps track
of their performance and statistics, as well as manages multi-player
interactions.
- Responsible for the design, coding and maintenance of the server
components of client's online games.
- Work with the Product Development and Online Operations teams to
develop and implement technically sound solutions using Core Java and other
appropriate technologies.
- Complete application coding assignments that meet provided technical
specifications and requirements.
- Participate in the design process that generates application
functional and technical specifications.
- Document application design specifications and implementation
procedures to improve application quality and reuse of code.
- Assist in the creation and execution of unit, function, and
performance test scripts and procedures to improve application quality and
ensure fulfillment of requirements.
- Plan and executes testing and implementation of major systems.
Qualifications:
- BS or MS in Computer Science or related discipline with 5 - 7 years
of work experience.
- Full knowledge of Core Java as well as experience in the following
technologies: PHP, MySQL, Linux/Apache web servers, Windows/IIS web servers,
and integrating (but not creating) Adobe Flash and Adobe Shockwave.
- Experience working with and creating multithreaded, socket based,
client/server network systems in Java.
- Must be a self-starter with a strong work ethic who can integrate
rapidly with an existing team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and specifications.
- Commitment to work quality.
