Company Description: Our client is a leading privately held Long Island based technology solution provider, successfully providing technical design, integration, staff augmentation, support, product solution, project management, and consultation services to clients in the New York metro area since 1979. Position Overview: Our client is seeking a dynamic leader to take their $6M+ / year networking and communications practice to the next level. The position will report directly to President. The practice currently consists of approximately 30 people across two offices. Key Responsibilities and Skills: 1. Leadership -Entrepreneurial -Passion - Continuous ambition to improve, grow and develop -Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with sales team -Ability to grow business 2. Thought Leadership -Expert in the application of technology solutions (ideally specific to various industries - K12, State and Local Government, Healthcare, Higher Education, Commercial) -Well connected in industry (Cisco, Microsoft, etc.) -Outstanding communication skills (written, public speaking, etc) 3. Client Acquisition, Retention, and Development -Skilled at customer acquisition, retention and development -Skilled at understanding the customers served and why they buy the practice's services -Ability to generate leads through networking, referrals, campaigns, etc. -Ability to develop clear value propositions for offerings -Ability to develop clear differentiation -Ability to articulate offerings and deliverables -Ability to propose and sell -Ability to show customers ROI for their investment 4.
