Job description – PHP Developer (contract/contract for hire)
Location: New York
Duration: 6 Months+
Responsibilities:
* Assist in brainstorming and defining user-facing features.
* Architecting, implementing and launching highly-visible, user-facing
features.
* Developing features that cater to content creators.
Requirements:
* BS in Computer Science, or equivalent.
* 3+ years of software engineering experience.
* Experience programming in PHP (a must), Java or C/C++ (preferred)
* Experience in database development, especially MySQL.
* Experience with a web content management system like Drupal, Joomla or
Alfresco
* Knowledge of UNIX/Linux environments.
* Experience developing and designing large web sites.
* Familiarity with application server, portal, document management,
content management, and knowledge management technologies.
Experience with backend Drupal systems is a huge plus
