Cheers, Euwyn * -- Lead Developer - PHP, Frontend* Type: Full-Time Location: Beijing, China Wokai is offering a unique opportunity for a web developer to spend a year (or more) in Wokai's offices in Beijing leading the web development efforts for a rapidly growing nonprofit that has been featured in the China Daily, CCTV 新闻,Phoenix TV, Time, CNBC, Bloomberg Asia, MSNBC, and the San Francisco Chronicle. The lead developer will work closely with the CEO, product managers and the marketing team to design and implement features across the site and improve the usability and scalability of the platform and take Wokai to the next level. *What we're looking for:* * Self starter up for a challenge. Wokai is growing rapidly, and challenges abound on the development end. The ideal candidate will not merely implement specs but also take initiative in coming up with with feature suggestions. * Strong development background. Deep experience with PHP, Javascript, HTML/CSS, Subversion, MySQL. * A portfolio of prior projects. Personal or otherwise, we'd like to see your prior work. * Smart and resourceful. You must be comfortable working with a lean team and environment. * Excellent writing and communication skills.
