Drupal Developer
Contract, New York, NY
Founded in 1999, MSDS is a specialized branding and user experience
design firm based in New York City. We are looking for a contract Drupal
Developer to join our team on-site or telecommute for the next three to
four months. Local candidates who can work on-site will have priority.
Qualifications
1. Experienced with PHP4 and PHP5 OOP development methodologies
2. Ability to implement end-to-end custom Drupal sites
3. Experienced with custom Drupal module development
4. Experienced with extending Drupal admin functionality with custom
modules
5. Has a good knowledge of the inner workings of Drupal such as
database, PHPTemple, Form API, and Drupal Search Engine
6. Has extensive working knowledge on parsing feeds such as XML, RSS,
and Atom or has worked with open source search engines such as
Lucene or Sphinx
7. Source control experience, particularly Subversion
8. Hands-on knowledge of standards-compliant HTML, XHTML, CSS,
Javascript, DHTML, AJAX, and XML
9. Knowledge of developing cross platform/browser compatibility in
all A-Grade Browsers
10. Adherence to web standards
