PHP Developer- (with Joomla or Drupal experience) - Contract position with a
fast-growing company.
Job Description:
This position will perform hands-on development for Client facing projects and
reports to the VP of Client Solutions.
Requirements:
- 2-5 years experience developing websites in Joomla
- 4+ years experience developing with PHP and JavaScript
- In-depth knowledge of Joomla or Drupal, including creation of custom
modules/components
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment with tight timelines
- Extensive experience with social media and user generated content is
highly desirable
- Experience dealing with external clients or internal business owners
is required
- Experience in scaling high traffic websites is strongly preferred

Any more specifics about the actual job function and what will be required of
the Developer?
Developer will need to write code, for client facing projects. They'll need to
be able to understand how to interpret wireframes, and figure out the best way
to solve a problem in the most efficient manner possible. The definitely should
have some exposure to drupal, though would accept someone who has only worked
with Joomla, if that's all we find. I

Will they be working independently or on a team?
On a team. Team will always consist of Project Manager, Designer and Developer.
They may be the only developer, or there might be several developers, depending
on the project(s).

How big will the team be?
Anywhere between 3 and 10 depending on the project.

Is this a lead role?
I am open. I would take a solid junior person, a mid-level person, or a senior
level person. I can adjust the salary as needed. Really, its about finding the
right fit and someone who is passionate about what we do.
Exposure to Drupal is becoming more and more important, as we're seeing more
projects go in that direction.
