 Software Engineering Lead

*You will be working with an all-new well-written codebase utilizing
cutting-edge innovative systems and an ultra-agile modern 2010 dev stack –
MongoDB, PHP 5.3, Vork Framework on an array of Ubuntu 10 CloudServers.*
Requirements:

§                          Experience leading a team of 5+ developers in a
consumer facing Internet Company

§                          Strong command of PHP and Java Script and
knowledge of factors that effect    performance, scalability,
maintainability, security

§                          Experience with project-scope management tools
like Trac, Jira, FogBugz or PivotalTracker

§                          Have a base-competency in Linux system
administration
Responsibilities:

§                          Lead a "dream team" of core-developers of PHP,
jQuery and MongoDB

§                          Participate in company management and direction
decisions

§                          “Own” the release cycle of new versions with
responsibility for meeting scheduled deployments

§                          Take workflow-style specs from our product-team
and efficiently distribute it as tech-task assignments to developers.
Strong Plusses:

§                          Experience with viral crowd sourcing and/or
social networking

§                          Advocate of coding standards (OO, MVC, naming
conventions, XHTML, PHP coding-standards,  etc.) and best-practices like
DRY, KISS and coding to E_STRICT validity

§                          Agile experience as a Scrum-Master or traditional
PM with PMP certification
