We are building a beta version of a novel mobile game. The team has designers
and an experienced business co-founder, a front-end Android engineer and solid
connections to raise capital. We’re looking for a technical co-founder with
experience building and scaling extremely large applications – and a desire to
create something original that we truly feel has the potential to attract
hundreds of millions of users.
The company is pre-funding at the moment, so this is a position with a
significant equity stake. Salary to follow after the seed round closing.
Key requirements:
- Fluent in PHP, database design/optimization with MySQL (5 years)
- Strong communication skills
- An obsession with building efficient and clean code and data structures
- Deep knowledge of the issues surrounding scalability
- Experience working on a high volume website, preferably consumer-facing
- Experience with HTML/CSS/Javascript
- Plus: Location-based service APIs
- Plus: Work with front end mobile app developers (Android and/or iOS)
- Plus: Experience with AWS/EC2
