JOB TITLE: Junior PHP Developer / PHP Developer DEPT: Programming Dept. HeBS Digital is expanding its team of talented professionals by adding, based on experience, one or more talented Junior PHP Developers / PHP Developers to help develop and enhance HeBS Digital's proprietary Content Management System (CMS) applications and other PHP applications for our clients. As a Junior PHP Developer / PHP Developer you will become part of a young, diverse, fun and driven team. As a Junior PHP Developer / PHP Developer, your responsibilities include 1. Working with our team (e.g., senior programmers, executives, sales team) to plan program code enhancements and changes to the proprietary software, including all aspects of programming 2. Developing high-performance, highly-available hospitality industry oriented client software with flexibility and code reusability in mind 3. Taking part in maximizing software functionality (either back-end or front-end related), optimizing and improving user experience. Requirements What you need for this position: 1. 1-3 Years applicable work experience 2. Proficiency with PHP and MySQL 3. Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) coding methodologies 4. Familiarity with LAMP or MAMP Server administration 5. Proficiency with JavaScript (jQuery), AJAX, and JSON 6. Good knowledge of CSS/XHTML 7. Must be a team player Good to have 1. Experience with MVC frameworks: Zend Framework, CodeIgniter 2. Proficiency with database schema design 3. Experience with PHP Open Source projects: Joomla, WordPress 4. SCRUM or Agile methodology knowledge 5. Familiarity with Social Network integration 6. Working knowledge of Git What we are looking for 1. College degree preferred. 2.
