ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Daily responsibilities include developing object oriented PHP / PHP 5 code within an existing Zend Framework codebase to create new website features, build backend reporting and administration tools, deploy marketing promotions and troubleshoot and fix bugs. • Ongoing goals will include refactoring PHP code to maintain extendibility and relevance, implementation and documentation of best practices and coding standards as well as keeping current with new technologies related to the field. QUALIFICATIONS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. • 3+ years experience development experience in a LAMP environment specifically using object oriented PHP / PHP5 and Zend Framework • Thorough understanding HTML, CSS, XML/XSLT and object oriented Javascript and/or jQuery • Previous experience with cross-browser development strategies and understanding of W3C & WAI Standards • Experience with MySQL in a high traffic commercial environment Candidates must have solid experience in building commercial websites using object oriented PHP5, MySQL, Javascript, jQuery with at least 2 years working exclusively with Zend Framework.
