I notice that Joda-Time allows period expressions such as P1M1W that have both month and week fields. However, according to ISO8601 (or at least the ISO 8601:2000 Final Draft), the format is either PnYnMnDTnHnMnS or PnW.
I don't see any reason why month and week units shouldn't be used together and I like the fact that Joda-Time allows this, but is this a deliberate feature that will continue to be supported?
