Hello Eric, Thanks for the hint, I've happened to have 1.5.06 on my local box and tested with that and joda-time 1.3 and that actually worked. Would have not guessed that it could be JDK related.

Upgrading to Joda-Time-1.4 and upgrading my JDK to 1.5.08 or higher has resolved my issue. I would suggest tryingt he same on yours and see if it helps.
