Ok, but I'm not sure about one thing: in some numbering schemes, the major number change means non-backward compatible changes. In other projects, major number change means "a lot of new features". Which case is here? What are the biggest changes in 2.0, which dictate major number change? (in other words, why 2.0 instead of 1.7?) Googling "Joda-time 2.0" doesn't bring many results.
