I just recently learned of the ThreeTen/JSR-310 project and have a few
questions.
1. Is ThreeTen where most future development efforts will be, and not
JodaTime? Is it correct to assume that current projects using JodaTime will
eventually want to switch to ThreeTen?
2. For production right now, should we continue using JodaTime? Or does it
makes sense to start working with ThreeTen?
3. Is there a migration path from Joda to 310, or are the two libraries
fairly compatible?
I guess I'm just wondering what actions I should be taking right now, if
any. My project mostly uses JDK Dates and Calendars, but I've been slowly
converting it to use JodaTime. New features are implemented with JodaTime.
Should I continue down that path, or should I instead be moving to 310?
Thanks!
Tauren
